Hello everyone, I restrung my Ibanez classical guitar about a week ago, and a couple days later, the A string started to buzz. It is quite odd as only one string buzzes, from open to the 5th fret. If the guitar lies horizontally, there is no buzz at all. I tried restringing the same string, that didn't solve the issue.

Could this be just a faulty piece, or is the groove too loose? I had the same string type before (d'Addario extra tense) and had no problem with those at all.

In most cases, when strings start to buzz for no apparent reason, it's caused by having the humidity too low. Air that is too dry causes the wood to dry and shrink, making the neck pitch back more.
I'm the only player to be sponsered by 7 guitar companies not to use their products.
