Hello everybody!
This time around, I figured I’d base my playlist around a somewhat coherent theme, so here’s…
Mostly instrumental multinational prog! (The bookenders have vocals)

Gojira – Flying Whales (France)
Opeth – Epilogue (Sweden)
Riverside – Lucid Dream IV (Poland)
Serious Beak – Tuī / Tuō (Australia)
Porcupine Tree – Nil Recurring - replaced with Synesthesia (England)
Dream Theater – Stream of Consciousness (United States)
Mogwai – Auto Rock (Scotland)
Faunts – M4 (Part II) (Canada)

Enjoy!

Past Stuff:

Did you hear about the cockney Godfather?

He made them an offer they couldn't understand.

Great mix, d00d. The the only song that didn't completely rock was the Serious Break one, maybe Ne Obliviscaris can fly the flag for Australian prog next time. The last song wasn't amazing either, but I suppose it is for a video game.

From Mars to Sirius is the only Gojira album I know, but it's beastly. Great start so far!

You need to get The Way of All Flesh.

Are you aware the Porcupine Tree song has been removed?

On the rest of the list: beyond the Gojira song I especially liked the Opeth and Mogwai tunes. Used to listen to Opeth all the time and even saw them play at one point, but I kind of lost interest somewhere along the road. Forgot how pretty pretty some of the stuff Mikael writes is.

I didn't enjoy the Dream Theater song, but that was to be to be expected. Most of their stuff just seems pompous to me.

Was totally gonna post this earlier but to lazy to log in. Was a cool list. Don't listen to much prog but was definitely pretty swell. I liked the different regions selection.

Also, Final Fantasy still sucks

I'll see if I can replace the PT video. And I'm glad there's a generally positive response.

I picked that song just because it was out there, and I'll have to give Ne Obliviscaris a listen.

^ that's irrelevant.
