The seymore duncan blackouts on my guitar are acting really weird. The neck pickup is going in and out of signal and when that happens the activity on my bridge goes out. Its not that I need a new battery trust me I tried everything. I tried different cables, different amp, different effects, and even different pedals and it still does the same thing. I was thinking it is a soldering problem. I'm thinking about taking it into guitar center or a local shop. Does anybody know how much it could cost? Or is the problem really easy and fixable from the house?

Take it to a shop or a trusted friend that really knows how to solder -- not a friend that "knew" or "use to" solder. But someone proficient -- and get it looked at.

I tried setting my password to "penis". It said my password wasn't long enough.

Thanks for the replies. I'm just going to take it into GC but, does anybody have any idea on how much it will cost? $100?
