I think its a bit overpriced new, atleast here in Sweden, if you find one used it will be more worth it!

They are over priced Epi Casinos that have Lenon's name on them to double the price of a normal casino. Besides hes been dead for how long? so I doubt he(Lenon) had anything to do with it other than Epi slaping his name on it to get more money for it.

Buy a regular casino, or go used on the Lenon Casino.

i had one for a week or so. got it on a trade, got rid of it on a trade.
the gibson USA p-90's are great, but not great enough to turn a 500$ guitar into a 1000$ guitar. buy a normal casino and upgrade the pickups, voila, you have a john lennon inspired casino.

either way your gonna need a big bucket... how you set it under the horse is up to you.

You want an answer from someone who has a Standard Casino and a Lennon Casino?

Well, the answer is, yes, of course you buy a Lennon Casino over a Standard. There is nothing wrong with the Standard at all. Great guitar. And the Lennon Casino is also a great guitar. But why you should buy the Lennon over the Standard is because it makes much better economic sense.

Some people here are saying you have to pay $1,000 for a Lennon. They must have bought there's off of Yoko. I paid under $800. Now think about this. You can get a Standard for $500 and a Lennon for $800. But the Lennon has far better additions that are worth much more than the $300 difference between the two. Better pickups, better switches, better pots, better jack, better tuners...plus you get a case with the Lennon! You buy a Standard then you have to buy a case you are already at $625. For just $175 more you buy a Lennon and you get all the improved electronics and pickups and a case!

Here's my Standard and Lennon Casino. Both are great guitars, however the Lennon Casino is the better deal.

Check the internet dealers like Sweetwater or Musician's Friend. They ALWAY have 15% off sales. They also from time to time have 20% off sales. They have those deals just about every month (there's a holiday it seems every month and they offer deals on even the most insignificant of holidays), but you do not have to wait for their offers. Call them up. Tell them, "I know you offer 20% off, if you offer me that I'll buy a Lennon Casino right now."
And there you have it, you've just gotten a tremendous guitar - a Lennon Casino - for $800.
