I "came up" with new tuning the other day, but i can't seem to find it on the internet, and was wondering if any of you guys had heard of it.
I play death metal, so this a low A type thing.

AEAEF#B

like, drop A with the D string tuned up to E. I think its almost an open tuning. But I dont know if it is or not.

Drop A is AEADG#B so I suppose it's just Drop A with the D and E strings tuned up a tone.

You don't need epic tone in the bedroom any more than you need mood lighting to masturbate.

Hmm. Looks like Open C6 dropped a minor third down to me.

Drop A with the D tuned up to E sounds right. What notes do we have:
A, B, E, and F#. The A and E screams root and fifth. So, in A, we have 1, 2, 5, and 6. You pretty much just have two stacked A5 chords followed up with the major sixth and major second. If you wanted, you could call it Asus2add13.

Edit: Actually, a simpler way to name it would probably be A6sus2. An A6 chord, but with a suspended second.
