Anyone listening to any underground rock/reggae bands?

Hey, you're from Roc city too?

Anyway, this is not underground, but when I read the OP this was the first tune I thought of.

Here's the thing about people who put their opinions forward like they're the gospel truth:

Is reggae rock anything like The Expendables? If so, worst genre of music ever. If it's like Sublime, just listen to Sublime because it don't get better.

Bad Brains, dont really listen to em but theyre cool

Bad brains don't really do reggae/rock that much, they tend to do either 100% reggae or 100% rock songs. Not a whole lot of mixing.

For reggae, all I've really listened to is Sublime, and I only really enjoy it when I'm high. Good happy time music though.

I've had a lot of trouble finding any Bad Brains songs that are reggae at all, can you point me in the right direction?

On the subject of hardcore/reggae mixing, you might like to hear a local band:

"What We Live For" is probably the most instantly recognisable as ska reggae styled, but they all have it in if you can be bothered to listen.

Admittedly, they're much better live. It's all slowed down in recording.

Oh is that how it is? Guess I really need to start listening to them

Here's the thing about your opinion. Nobody gives a shit.

OT: I don't listen to underground reggae/ska/punk, per se. The stuff I listen to is a bit more mainstream, but generally unknown. Look up Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Blind Melon, Operation Ivy, and Dead Kennedys

SublEDIT: If you want straight up reggae, go with Black Uhuru and Bob Marley. Slightly Stoopid and Sublime also do quite a bit of reggae.

I don't think any of these have been mentioned yet:

Natural Incense
Pepper
Stick Figure
The Supervillains (more ska, but then again so are Sublime and they've been mentioned)
Matisyahu

EDIT: Nevermind, Pepper was, but still the others are good.
