You guys ever heard of this site? quite interesting

It's not perfect yet but it finds pictures online to see if they may be being used somewhere else! can be pretty fun!

So if somebody has stole your images... go and take 'em back!

Apparantly nobody is using my avatar though. Weird...

http://www.tineye.com

I'll look for more stuff later. I tried the first image under Paramore on google images and it came up with loads

Google images also offers a similar service where you can drag an image from another tab or even your computer and find websites where it's used, or similar looking images. It also tries to guess the description of the image, which can get quite hilarious.

Really? so even if, example:

Somebody did an interview and has a million screencaps, one with their arms waving about in the air and laughing their head off, and the other where they're bored and almost lying down but on the same setting, it would still find the images? is that what you mean?

And where is it that on Google?

Uh, I think. And go to http://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=iiw,google.com/images , either drag something to the search window from a tab or your computer.

I once used Tineye to prove that a friend's boyfriend of 2 or 3 years from the internet was fake. True story.

LOL wow... when was this?

There's no name to it, just drag an image into the search bar on Google Images.

I can't seem to figure it out... I guess it can't be in the same tab?

Go to Image search and press the small camera icon next to the search button and drag your image there

I dunno, a year or two ago. I ran all of the pictures of the supposed "boyfriend" through tineye, and found that they all came from some foreign language speaking social networking sites. Oh, and a picture of 'his' baby came from some French medical website years before he supposedly had it. I didn't even feel bad for the girl. Everybody but her could already tell what was going on.

Jesus christ. =/

Tineye is fantastic. I've been using it for a year or two now. It's imperfect but it's getting slowly better and better. That drag-google feature is pretty great as well.

Paramore, just drag the picture to the tab button at the top with google image search, then drag it to the search box.

I don't know if I find it that effective to be honest. I have seen my pictures hosted elsewhere but TinEye hasn't.

I never even noticed that thing

Is the Google one better or TinEye? apparantly TinEye only does Jpg's, Bmp's or something. It doesn't say what Google does.

I used to use TinEye, but when Google began reverse-image searching, I began using it instead. I'm not sure if it's better, but it is certainly more convenient.

Maybe it would help find out who womaninthebox19 really was.

YES.

It works well for finding a larger sized version of the same image, if the one you have is a thumbnail or just small or something. But that's only if it can find it.
