Hey everyone i would appreciate if someone would be able to tell me what the biggest differences if any between and ash body tele and alder body tele. I have only had the chance to play alder. Tone? Weight? Look?

Ash is usually a slightly lighter colour and has more pronounced grain patterns. Tone-wise, alder is about as balanced as you can get; ash has a tiny bit more treble and slightly weaker mids. However, this difference is so small that it only really shows up in set neck guitars. With neck-throughs and bolt-ons the difference between ash and alder becomes entirely negligible. The main reaosn why people pick ash over alder is because the grain can look nicer under a see-through finish, and the main reason why people pick alder over ash is because it's marginally easier/quicker/cheaper to get hold of in large quantities.
Yes, I know everything. No, I can't play worth a damn.
