So I have one of the modern player plus teles. they're nice actually, a pickup swap helped a lot. Anyways, I've always loved the way binding looked on teles, and I wanted to know if there was a way to get some kind of a faux binding on mine.

It can be done the way PRS does it (requires a re-finish of the guitar) but that is all I can think of right now.

^Actually, the guy painted a cream binding that stays on. PRS tape the side so theyre is no paint or stain that gets on the''binding'', then remove it so its bare wood.

I would try the tape. Its cheap so if you **** up, oh well, and it comes off so if you **** up, oh well.
