Hey people!

I simply have a quick question for you, so here we go.

I have started studying multi finger tapping (that would be more than 2 fingers of my right hand) and i just wondered, do you keep your thumb of your right hand on the back side of the neck while tapping this kind of stuff or do you simply use a "floating hand"? That would be when going up to the higher frets (about where the neck ends and the body starts).

I've tried to find out but it's hard to see in videos such as this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IctNNhH-kRY&feature=related ( 2:15 )

Also, if you would not mind. Please list a couple of players you know that use this technique. I know a few already, but the more the merrier!

Thanks alot guys!
