Can anyone out there recommend a good instructional DVD for intermediate guitarists? Mainly rock, blues type stuff but if anyone can recommend a general DVD that's good at covering all basses that would be great.

Much appreciated.

John Petrucci - Rock Discipline
Marty Friedman - Melodic Control
Paul Gilbert - Intense Rock

Junior's usually at least a little terse, but he knows his stuff. I've always read his posts in a grouchy grandfather voice, a grouchy grandfather with a huge stiffy for alternate picking.
Besides that, he's right this time. As usual.

I have Metal Method. It seems good, though I've only gotten to stage 2.
I also have Learn and Master. It seems good too.
I also have the Blues series by Marty Schwartz (guitarjamz.com). That also seems pretty good, but a little less structured than the other two.
I have Fender's Getting Started with Electric Guitar. Also pretty good, but it's a bit less thorough.

Damn...I have even more than that (Including Rock Discipline). I think I might have GADD

I've heard good things about Lick Library too....

There are lots of good options out there! Good luck!

Not a dvd but Guthrie Govan's Creative Guitar 1&2 are great books containing some superb gems of information.
