So there's this local "pro" luthier that I can't find the time to talk to but what are the average prices for a luthier? I only need the prices for the things listed below:

Setup, New (bone) Nut and Saddle, Checking if guitar needs neck relief, crack fixing on the side (5 cracks on a larrivee, not mine), and adjusting action. So what's the "average" cost?

A luthier will generally look your whole guitar over and tell you what is wrong with it for free, because the very next step is him writing you up a ticket for repairs and yanking it back out of your hands for a week or so.

A very high-end Santa Cruz luthier recently installed a custom fabricated bone nut and saddle, and recompensated the original bridge in my old Guild D25 for $220 out the door. That work obviously includes adjusting the action (truss twist if needed) and a set-up.

Cracks on the side? Well, that there could get costly....

Good luck!
