*** OPEN REGISTRATION ***

Thanks to StewieSwan for this:
To export a GP5 drum track as an Mp3 if I just download the song from UG...

Make sure only the drum track is on (mute the others or press the S button on the drum track in GP) and then go File - Export - MIDI. Once the drum MIDI is exported, find it wherever you put it and open it with itunes. Then right click the track and select "create mp3".
If it doesn't say mp3, if it's another kind of format then go Edit - Preferences - General - Import Settings - Import Using Mp3 Encoder and then right click the song and convert to mp3. This is all assuming you have the latest itunes.

There are 6 categories:

Born of Osiris - Now Arise, intermediate I guess? (Talking about guitar).

Put me down for Plug In Baby - Muse. Easy Guitar. I might do it for bass too, it just depends on how much time I'll have.

Also TS, check your OP, it say's we have to have the tracks in by March.
I pride myself on my humility.

Sign me up for easy and intermediate on guitar. Gonna go with Rivers of Avalon by Red Hot Chili Peppers for easy, and Blackbird by Alter Bridge for intermediate (as I'm feeling ambitious). Might enter one on ocarina too if I can think of something.

Sir, the contents of my mouth just blew all over my keyboard, desk, and part of my monitor. For the record, it was slightly chewed Keebler cookies and coffee slurry.

This, but see rule 2 where you have to have it by the 20th.

I suppose I'll try Frenzy by Racer X for advanced guitar. Might even get it done within a week, we'll see.
Save a trip to the RT!

Augment of Rebirth as easy? Lolwat.

Also, not sure whether to Do Insurrection or Now You're Got Something To Die For By Lamb Of God.

Edit: I'll do Now You've got Something To Die For. I think it's beginner, but I might be underestimating it.

Letterbomb - Green Day - Guitar, Easy.

Thanking you very kindly.
I shall grant you three wishes.

None of which will work.

Does the above post enrage, offend or confuse you?

Good.

I like my women how I like my guitars. Curvy and like it when I finger them.

I think I'll follow Wellington on suit with a Green Day song.

Having A Blast - Green Day - Guitar, Easy.

I don't listen to all bands so don't assume I know the category immediately. Not all Dream Theater songs are in Advanced, and not all Muse songs are in Easy.

Easy: Jump In - Making April
Intermediate: BYOB - System of A Down
Advanced: On The Backs of Angels - Dream Theater (also on keyboards)

Not a member of facebook, otherwise I would.

For this month... Guitar:
Bridget Mermikides' arrangement of Satie's Gymnopedie #1
I'll put it down as easy. Though not beginner's type easy.

I might do one for bass. Just don't have anything lined up right now.

It's gonna be tough, but put me down for This is the Life by Dream theater on Guitar..

It's a borderline easy-intermediate, but I would say easy. Mainly because the runs are not TOO fast.
Minecraft: Sonic
League of Legends: CinoSRelliK

Currently Playing/listening to/Reading:

Kerbal Space Program,
Binding of Isaac
Opeth - Orchid
S. by Doug Dorst
The Martian by Andy Weir

16ths at 150 bpm is really borderline advanced... but as it only lasts 1 bar I'd say intermediate.

Bear in mind that Green Day, Foo Fighters, Sum 41, Blink etc etc are all easy, and that solo in This Is The Life, whilst not as ridiculous as some of their other solos, is certainly not in the same category as powerchord songs.

Oh. I was looking at some of the stuff in the intermediate tier and thinking "This is the life is nothing compared to these."

I was more looking at BYOB, which is mainly open string patterns, but their still impossible to nail.

Plus, none of the patterns are really that complex. Okay. Put it down for intermediate, then.

Now I feel like a tard

OP updated.

Not sure if I'll continue with On The Backs of Angels. Jordan Rudess is simply awesome. I don't pass Dream Theater entries anymore without keyboard cover, haha.

Maybe I'll do with Master of Puppets. Been listening to that song, just never got the time to learn it completely.

Sonic, sorry man, but This Is The Life may not be fast, but it's the complexity, technicality and harmonies that will **** your shit up.

Cheers.

Life... With the Pit?
Teach me your way master

Thanks man I hate to be a dildo but it's actually for bass

Man, I wanted the first entry. It's my fault, I learned the song like 4 days ago, but 'procrastinate and dominate' kicked in and I haven't made the video.

It's not really hard. You just study, and in a while you get something like this . . .

Stick Stickly - Attack Attack - Guitar Easy
Just for the lulz

Black - Trivium - Guitar
Intermediate? Idk it sounds pretty easy. I'd say it's on the borderline of Easy/Intermediate. What say you?

Edit: Sign me up for these, but as I'm in the middle of moving right now, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to them. If not, I shall do them next month.
