What music production application can i run on an Intel Celeron 2.20Ghz Single-Core CPU?
Reaper ftw!
Audio Ecstasy Productions!

Guitar/Backline Tech in the Los Angeles area and on tour!
Custom guitar pedals and cabling for stage and studio!

I set up DAWs and tweak computers to record audio. Hit me up @ audioecstasyproductions[at}gmail.com
TBH, most DAWs should work if you're just doing basic recording, but if you plan on doing full mixes, I doubt that processor would be able to handle very much plugins.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

Depends on what OS you're using. ;-)

I wouldn't want to do too much heavy lifting for audio on a machine like that running Win7, but if you don't mind using XP, you can do a LOT with that.

My band did our album with a single-core Celeron 1.7 Ghz machine and maybe 512MB or 1GB of RAM. Each song was upwards to 36 tracks of 24-bit audio, including processing as appropriate.

I use Cubase.

Could I get some more talent in the monitors, please?

I know it sounds crazy, but try to learn to inhale your voice. www.thebelcantotechnique.com
