im jealous, my friend does nothing but talk about how awesome theory is. sadly it was a year long class so i cant sign up till this next semester. but theory is awesome. its like a giant puzzle.

I learned that if you fret the 6th string at the 5th fret, it's EXACTLY THE SAME NOTE as the open 5th string!

1 foot = 3 milliseconds in terms of percieved size of a room. for every 3 ms delay you add to a signal, the room gets 1 foot bigger.

but it doesn't stop there, if the delay occurs within 30 milliseconds of the original sound, the human mind can't tell the difference and perceives it as the same sound.

Learning how to properly use sends instead of inserts, properly filtering and EQing instruments, just a bunch of production stuff. Very interesting stuff.
