this might be a dumb question but i've never bought pedals at guitar center but now i am forced to:

Can I just bring my guitar in to test pedals with at Guitar Center? Or will they make me use one of theirs?

Bring it in. I'm sure they'll understand the uniqueness of your guitar when it comes to sound....

bring in your own guitar. better to find out what it's gonna sound like when it's back at your home.

if they are a respectable business, they will have a return policy (be it 14 or 90 days).

if you bring anything just the guitar so you are comfortable playing it. play it on amps similar to yours, don't know your amp at the moment. yea its not going to be the same, but the odds of them having similar to what you play you will get close enough. buy it. if it doesn't work well with what you are doing, go back and return it. then if you feel the need to bring an amp in that would be a better IMO.

thats what i do, however most of the time i am buying blind and only based on really some net musicians tones. which some of are processed with comressors/eq's/etc.
