I need 1 last 'Special pedal'...

Not sure what it should be though! Do you know??

I am now officially out of the FX loop business. Everything now running out front of my amp.

Bad Monkey is just holding the place of my new BB Preamp, already ordered from Amazon.
I will now have one of the best Maz Jr. pedals man has yet made.

Signal path goes...

Line 6 G30 mounted under the board...
Goes into the Polytuner...
Next is TWA Little dipper...
Next is Corey's 'The Rounder' Small FX loop....
In the loop is one pedal: Zvex Mastotron ( I like engaging this pedal with the rounder. More room for my big foot!)
After the rounder is Timmy, BB Preamp, or Mystery pedal yet not bought.
I can run them in any order, which is undecided. Timmy to BB to mystery pedal or BB to Timmy to mystery pedal??
Note that I do have one 18v and two 9v leads to play with here.

Next is the Ekko 616 delay
Next Red Witch Chorus/Vibrato
Next is HardWire RV-7 Reverb...

So what standard size pedal do I need to keep the BB and Timmy company?

It needs to have it's own voice, due to me already having transparent well covered by the Timmy.

Maybe something from Maxon, that runs on standard Pedal Power leads (100mA)...

Mad professor??

Wampler??

I'm kinda thinking that I don't have a flat out distortion pedal yet... Maybe a killer one?

Anybody ever try a Skreddy Screwdriver? It looks like a good candidate to fill my board.

Thanks!

BTW - Just bought the ZVex Mastotron Fuzz today..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ge9BOwt_S8o

It's a wild beast...
but it doesn't oscillate out of control on you, like the Fuz Factory can... I liked it better.

Looking forward to some Little Dipper into the Mastotron sounds!
I better strap in...

The Two Ton is one of a kind. It's a fuzz box, and standard sized.

The problem with most tube pedals is that they seem to all want more than 100mA's...

I would love to buy the Maxon RTD800.

Sounds great in a Maz Jr.

It's an insanely versatile little pedal, with the switches it can do anything from a really punchy midrangey clean boost to a fat, singing distorted tone...it remains my greatest ever find in a gutar shop

I now think I am going for the Maxon RTD800...

I now think I can fit it on my bored. Its size (4.5”x 6”x 2&rdquo

I will first need to order a Voodoo Lab PPP1 current doubling cable.
Then put (2) of my 100 mA outs together creating a 9v 200mA out to power the base of my Line 6 G30.
It requires 200 mA, and am currently using the one 120v out on the PedalPower II Plus to power it's wallwart.

Once the 120v outlet is free, I then could power the Maxon RTD800 using it's wallwart.
I hope it comes with one for that price!

Voodoo Lab cautioned that the 120v out on the PedalPower II Plus is not made for powering heavy duty stuff...

I hope the transformer (Walwart) of the Maxon RTD800 is not too much!

why are you getting a maxon when you could have an effectrode or a kingsley.

the rtd is a garbage circuit.

it's a solid state pedal with a tube buffer at the end.

Really... Man-O

Guess I better keep looking around then.

$400.00 is a pricey pedal for a garbage circuit.

Agreed. The Maxon is garbage. You want a Kingsley Minstrel if you want tube tone in a pedal.

well now you have?

Well the boys over at the Z site are talking about them...

Not only does Mike Hermans like them, the outstanding guitarist I posted in the RTD800 links.

Dave Weiner is now a member too, playing his new Z-wreck: http://ztalk.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=zwreck&action=display&thread=46614

He just did a Maxon shootout video: http://ztalk.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=video&action=display&thread=47182

He likes them too.

Both of them are far better guitarist than me, so Maxon was getting some good billing.

I have never owned one.
