Why don't you learn how to read notation and learn the notes on your fingerboard? Then you can learn theory, and learn all of the scales you could possibly want.

If you don't know why the scale of Cmaj is Cmaj, then you have an issue that can't be solved by reading tablature of 'scales'.

agreed. scales are the best way to get yourself caught in a bpx. it's better to learn what makes a scale to exist and sound good, than to learn a scale having no idea on how to proper use them.
