I normally jam with my amp at about 2-3 to jam with a bassist and drummer and it's fine, but the other day I had to crank it up to 5 to get as loud as I usually do. Its not my pedals because I just changed the batteries in them. Any ideas on what causes this?
solid state or tube? might need new tubes?
maybe th eother guys played lourder?
Cobain quote made my day. Funny stuff.
2-3 o'clock? just wondering or 2-3 on a volume scale of sorts. know what i mean?
2-3 as far as level of volume. It's about 7-8 o clock, but I had to go to 11 o clock, it solid state, and they can't play louder. Trust me.
Could be a variety of things. Do you use the volume on your guitar to clean it up? < That may sound stupid if you have been playing a while. Make sure you didn't hit any knobs on accident. Another thing to consider is maybe you need a new cable. If it is a modeling amp they have issues with this stuff a lot. Spyders specifically.
