I have a peavey 6505 212
Ive been doing some recording lately using a zoom H2 mike and my results have been far from what i expected.
So i was wondering could i use the external speaker port on my amp, use a converter cable to transfer it to a 3.5mm (aux) and plug it straight into my computer and record direct through that?
Please help its killing me, ive finally got my tone right but when i mike it up its unclear and fuzzed out. it records clean fine, but when it come to distortion, its horrible!!

No. That speaker out is high power and would blow your computer.

Didn't you say that you had a stuffed fox that you would occasionally fuck?

It's not a fox,it's a wolf.

could i buy anything to put in the circuit to enable me to plug it straight into the computer? possibly a low impedance circuit connector?
or any other way to get the straight out of my amp tone to my compuer without miking my amp up?
