I am trying to wire my guitar. It is an explorer style with 2 humbuckers, 2 volumes, a tone, and a 3 way switch. nothing i have tried worked. The pickups i have were taken from another guitar and they only have two wires coming off of them.
This is how it is wired now and it is not working. The third post on the pots are bent back and grounded except for on the tone. the tone also has a cap on it.

Any ideas ?

Looks like it.
Just use that seymour duncan guide and ignore the red/white/green wires.

Didn't you say that you had a stuffed fox that you would occasionally fuck?

well i tried moving the wire on the tone and still nothing. the pick ups work, i got it to make sound but that was one pick up directly to the jack.
