I'm looking for a small, cheap amp (£250 limit) that has good, high gain as well as bright and warm cleans, preferably with reverb. I play everything from death metal to classic rock. I know nothing about amps, so I'm hoping someone'll suggest something, 'cause I have no idea.

Peavey Vypyr isn't bad. You can get the 75 watt version for that budget.

Produces a good kick.

It's good for high gain stuff, but i think he would prefer a more versatile one.

All 3 budget modeling amps have their good points and bad points.

Try out the Vox Valvetronix, Peavey Vypyr, and Roland Cube. The Vox is better at cleaner tones, Vypyr at having gain, and the Roland is kinda in the middle.

You can go tube with that budget though. Nobody feed this madness until he fills out the link.

Yep, answer the questions from the link WtrPlyr posted in here and you'll get a lot more replies.

He's obviously pretty young, and I'd guess he's being raised by wolves, or at least humans with the intellectual capacity and compassion of wolves.

You finally made it home, draped in the flag that you fell for.
