I just bought a cry baby pedal and the amp makes no noise when the pedal is switched on... however when the pedal is off the amp still works 0.o (line 6)

What you need is a new amp.

Have you replaced the batteries?

But yeah, it'd be worth getting a new amp too.

This. Also, are you sure the pedal has any power? That is what it sounds like. You do need a new amp, though.

It's not really likely that the amp is the problem.

I know, just trying to get rid of any possibilities.

Is it a new wah? if it is take it back.
