I picked up this Lotus strat copy at a local guitar shop for $60 a couple weeks ago, the thing plays incredible, and seems far undervalued. I've done some research but cant find anything other than it looks like a 1979 Fender Stratocaster 25th Anniversary edition copy. Any info?... there's no serial's on the outside of the guitar, or markings other than the brand name, and "made in Korea" on the back of the neck. Please excuse the strings

Not much info out there. I have one. I traded a few pedals for it. It had damage on the body under the bridge, so I blocked it. Very heavy three piece body, not sure if ash or alder. Then I decided to try something different. Mine isn't like a Strat anymore, but a nice easy playing rockin' guitar now.
This is what I ended up with:

Nice lookin guitar man, glad another guy has one on the board here. Wonder what the model difference would have been between ours, seems like the neck was only different, my guitars pretty heavy too. Does yours have a nice body contour on the back too?
