I need help tabbing this song. Chords would be helpful.

Here's a link to it for your reference: Naked Eye by Oxford

Notes from my attempts:

I know the song's in G major after listening to it 38 times.
Instruments: Percussion, Guitar, Banjo, Vocals, Backing Vocals, possibly a uke and bass, as well.

A little music theory, for those that know how to use it.

G A B C D E F# G
I ii iii IV V vi vii I

The chorus is: I-ii-IV-I => G, Am, C, G
Pop-chord progression.

The Verse has what sounds like a turnaround, to me anyway.
C, D, G, or IV-V-I. "Only with my naked eye, only with my naked eye".

I think, The bass notes in the verse are: G, B, F, E, B, C, [C, D, G] (Octave up G), [C, D, G]

~Lyrics~

Intro

*whistle melody*

Verse 1
Looking through a lens of gold,
a rose is in my spectacles,
only with my naked eye.
I can see a violet sky,
melt into the mornin' light,
only with my naked eye,
only with my naked eye.

Pre-Chorus
ohh ohhh ohh ohh... (voice matches these notes F#, E, D, C)

Chorus/Refrain 1 (I used the hyphens for quarter notes to give you an idea of timing)
Doo-do, do-do do do-do, doo-do,
do-do do do-do, doo-do, do-do do do-do, dooo.
Doo-do, do-do do do-do, doo-do,
do-do do do-do, doo-do, do-do do do-do, dooo.

Verse 2
Written in a fortune cookie line:
"Beauty is what you will find,
only with your naked eye."
leave the spartan age behind,
('n) go back to a simple time,
only with my naked eye,
only with my naked eye.

Pre-Chorus (same as first)
ohh ohhh ohh ohh (voice matches these notes: F#, E, D, C)

Chorus 2 (same as 1st chorus)
Doo-do, do-do do do-do, doo-do,
do-do do do-do, doo-do, do-do do do-do, dooo.
Doo-do, do-do do do-do, doo-do,
do-do do do-do, doo-do, do-do do do-do, dooo.

Interlude/Bridge
Family tree, is growing tall,
Limbs are rotting and bound to fall.
Pull the weeds and till the land,
Plant a seed and we can start over again.

Chorus 3
*clap* (mute guitar)
Doo-do, do-do do do-do, doo-do,
do-do do do-do, doo-do, do-do do do-do, dooo.
*bajo starts*
Doo-do, do-do do do-do, doo-do,
do-do do do-do, doo-do, do-do do do-do, dooo.

Outro Sisters... Mothers...

~End of lyrics~

I've narrowed the song down to 23 Possible chords (I left out some dom7 chords):
G, Gmaj7, Gsus, Gadd9, Am, Am6, Am7, Bm, Bm7, (B7 a.k.a Bdom7 , sounds good),
Cmaj, C6, C7, Cmaj7, Cadd9, D, D7, D6, D7sus, Dadd9, Em, Em7, F#m7b5 (I seriously doubt that chord is in the song...)
The song only uses about 6-12 of chords listed above. I think I heard the banjo play
an A7 at the 3rd Chorus.

If you're willing to help, I'll gladly credit you in the tab. I've worked hard over the
past few days trying to figure the song out. The bass keeps screwing me up when it
hits the octaves.

Hey dude, I just heard this song on that Lowes comercial and was sad to see no one had tabbed it yet. Using some of the stuff you came up with, I think I figured it out:

Intro (picked):
G G G Gm G D G
i think he adds the 4th at the begging or something. Not totally sure.

Verse:
G B7 Em A C D G
The "C D G" is that turnaround you mentioned that he repeats.

Pre-Chorus:
D C Bm Am

Chorus:
G A C G
I'm pretty sure its an all major chorus.

Bridge:
Em A D G
The second time around, I just hold the D when the voices do that chromatic thingy.

And that's it! Hope this helps. Sorry for the crude format. Great tune!

Funny how someone figured it out since it is identical to someone who previously posted it right here:

I think jeffdavis152 is the same guy who posted the tab there. His name is also Jeff.

That's how I've been playing it. All barre chords, too. Well, not the B7.It sounds right. Just haven't bothered to tab it. Will soon. Thanks! You'll be credited in the tab.

I added this banjo part:
Oooo... (banjo)

B|--------3-------------2-2/------
