Hey everyone,

So I wanted to know if anyone could give me some suggestions for a good set of songs to practice, not necessarily to learn the songs (though obviously no loss in it), but to help practice technique, work towards playing more advanced pieces. I listen to about everything with a guitar in it, but mainly hard and classic rock.

A few songs (and parts of songs) I can play already;

Nothing Else Matters - Metallica (whole song)

Enter Sandman - Metallica (main riff)

Sweet Child O' Mine - G'n'R (main riff)

Don't Fear The Reaper - Blue Öyster Cult (All but the solo [score book I learned this from didn't include it)

Can't Help Falling In Love - Elvis (fingerstyle arrangement)

Babe I'm Gonna Leave You - Zeppelin (Intro/main riff and Bridge)

Stairway to Heaven - Zep (Intro)

Back In Black - AC/DC (whole song, can't say it's very clean though)

Simple Man - Skynard

Hotel California - The Eagles (Fingerstyle Intro and picking chord progression)

Anything using just barre chords of open chords is easy enough now, given I spend some time to figure out the placement for each barre chord.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!
