My pixel sunshine resolution is grand
I take my program perfect love by the hand
I raise my weapons and I make my stand

Her eyes are lasers and my shields are unmanned
My strategies are never working out as I planned
Why doesn't anybody understand

I'm alone and I'm burning while I'm running in place
I'm alone and there's nobody to keep me safe
I'm alone when I wake up in my suburban dream
Why can't she forget my words and hear what I mean

I like it. The only thing is, I wish there were more stanzas. If you had a stanza fleshing out:
Why can't she forget my words and hear what I mean
, for instance. I find myself asking the following: 1) what words offended her to the point where she can't forget, and 2) what do you mean?

Also,
My strategies are never working out as I planned
: what strategies are you referring to? A stanza expanding upon that might help.

It's great, but it just leaves some answers open.

Thanks, y'all. It's meant to be left open to interpretation. For one thing, it doesn't mean anything in the particular; for another, pop songs that imply a story without actually telling a specific story tend to be more successful longer. Not that this is meant to be in any way successful, just that it's like other pop songs (that actually are successful) in that one minor way. It's a practice sort of song.
