find a way to get it centered. you can stick a bunch of guitar picks and keep the block in place level.
then tune up all your strings perfectly while leveled. take the picks or wood out, then use the screws to readjust the floyd back to the level position. should be all set
Gear:
Alesis Multimix 8 USB 2.0
Alesis DM6
Two Colling's acoustics (my dad's)
Ibanez SoundGear bass
Epiphone Nighthawk Custom Reissue
Ovation 12-string (also dad's)
Sony 5.1 system

Have you changed strings or tunings recently? If you have, you'll need to re-adjust spring tension in the back. For your bridge to stay level the tension from the strings has to match that of the springs.

If you have adjusted your springs correctly and then you come back later and your bridge has risen, then you may need to replace your springs(they have a life-span), or add an additional spring if you've recently put on heavier strings. If you come back and the bridge has lowered then your new strings are still stretching. If you're working with older already stretched strings, then the only thing I could think that would cause the bridge to lower is that something's not tightened properly on the strings, either at the nut or the bridge.

Hard to tell without looking at the guitar itself, but if worse comes to worse, then yes, as recommended earlier, ....block it. =(

cut your losses and block the damn thing.

yea thats the answer, just block it.

people buy full floaters for a reason, blocking unless you develop over time that you don't use it is being different.

you do know some people buy a guitar because it is fitted with a floyd rose trem

go to GB&C's or EG for the ultimate floyd thread can't remember where it is, it is a sticky though.
