Hey guys,

I quit playing a long time ago in my late teens, and am picking back up now. I'm 27. I grabbed a Squier Vintage Modified Strat HSS to practice with. I really like it, actually, more than I thought I would. I think it will hold me over for quite some time.

I'm finding my interests are WAY different these days than they used to be.. I used to want to just sound like Korn. Now I want to actually play guitar.

Anyway, I made a tone demo video on YouTube for this guitar. If anyone is thinking about picking one up as a starter or a beater, you can hear it here.. just excuse my sloppy playing.

Start using your pinky a little more bud. 4 strong fingers is always better than 3.

Ahh, I've been working on it. Seems like when I'm not thinking about it I revert to the first two fingers still, though. Thanks for the advice!
