only pedal i've modded is the Boss Blues Driver. Great pedal before and after the mod, but definitely worth it, very noticeable difference.

But seriously, my Keeley-modded TS9 has some awesome tones in it, and it just seems more 'musical' overall than a stock TS9, at least to my ears. OEM products are made, first and foremost, to turn a profit. Granted, a good many stock OEM products are great out of the box, but even more of them, Tubescreamers included, can be greatly improved by changing just a few small things that the manufacturer did/didn't do to keep build costs lower.
