Im really looking into buying a single coil pickup (still deciding) in the neck position of my Jackson dk2m and im trying to find something that will let me mount this pickup.

preferably i would like to mount it diagonally, but straight is fine too. im just looking for some sort of mount that would let me mount the single coil in the space of a humbucker

The only real answer to the SG vs Les Paul debate is to get a Flying V and laugh at all the suckers who don't have one.

if you embrace inaccurate intonation it can be quite arousing.

Well I don't know of any other way. Good luck on your ventures, though. Also, I don't think it would look too bad if the pickup itself was black, but to each his own.

I know that Bare Knuckle do humbucker-sized P90s but I don't know if that's what you're looking for.

There's quite a few humbucker-sized single coil pickups out there. Apparently the GFS dream 90 sounds like a fat strat, while the mean 90 sounds more like a normal p90 (close, but not quite). http://www.guitarfetish.com/Dream-90-Humbucker-SIzed-P90--Black-on-Black-_c_60.html

For the price its hard to justify not trying it out

i was personally thinking of throwing a yjm fury in there and finding any old humbucker to match with it in the bridge.

i definitely dig p90's though and ill definitely check em out

It would probably fit, I can't see a normal strat single coil being much wider than a humbucker. The only problem is that it would look like ass imo.

You could just use this, I dont know why no one suggested these.

They have them for neck pups too which could be used on the bridge if you want the SC to go straight across like a humbucker rather than being angled.

You can probably just mount it through the humbucker mounting holes. I've seen that done before.
