Long time lurker, first time poster...

I am setting up my pedal board, and I want to include my amp's channel switching foot pedal on the board. I use it for the amp's reverb and stereo chorus. My question is about the cord. Can I mod the footswitch so I can unplug the cord from the footswitch, or is there a channel switching pedal that can be unplugged that would work with my amp?

My amp is a Randall RG100SC and I have the footswitch mounted on a PedalTrain-2.

Thanks.

Cant see why you couldn't cut the cable close to the foot switch and fit a jack to either end... if you have the time and skill you could even cut a bigger hole in the switch and mount the output jack so the cable just unplugs from the back.

I have no idea what type of pedal or cable that amp uses but it should be a relativity easy exercise. If you want to give us a link or picture I could probably be more specific...

Easiest way would just be to use a Boss (or most any other) footswitch. They cost around $40.00 and then buy cable the right length.

This, its a quick and easy solution.

Or if you feel like a challenge and want to save a few dollars then track down the parts and tools you will need and make a DIY connection - just make sure you leave enough length for a second (and possibly third) attempt when installing the fittings.
