They're a new band, but I feel they belong in "Classic Rock".

I'm pretty sure I'm, not the only one, but has anyone on UG every heard of Rival Sons?
They're an amazing blues band from LA who for some strange reason aren't world famous yet.

Has anyone seen them? Are they good live?

I was just curious, and I also just wanted to spread them around.
Hope you like their stuff.

They've been around for a good few years now and I saw them last July. They're as good as you'd expect, if not better, and they have a really big sound when live. I got my Pressure and Time album signed, met them and everything

WOW that's lucky. I wanted to see them here in Canada in January, but they were only playing clubs that were 18+. I bet that albums gonna be worth a lot soon

How to achieve Frank Zappa's guitar tone:

Step 1: Buy a Gibson SG
Step 2: Insert Green Ringer, EQ, 3 dead squirrels and a microwave into said SG
Step 3: Plug in and freak the **** out.
