Just need some help with how he's playing this, I'm guessing standard tuning and A is the main chord, but kind of murky otherwise as you can't see the neck much in the video. Appreciate any help!

Why don't yOu just go and get the tab for this song as there ate a few versions on this website that are good... If you don't know the name of the song is
The way you make me feel... By Michael Jackson.... So just type it in the search engine here and you have it...

Well, of course I did that first but the versions I see here don't quite sound the way DRH plays it in my link. This one kind of seems like the right idea, but not quite correct, and furthermore I'm also hoping for a bit of help with the strumming

here you go.....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7-G3-BZqXg

watch him playing it here and all he is doing is playing 3 chords the entire song and basically palm muting and hitting the top three strings and sort of what I call scatting in a jazz method on the guitar.....

you should be able to get it from this video....just watch him and do what he is doing

So in the beginning of the acoustic he is using palm muting on the G barre or
G5 power chord and when you hear that clear part is going to a C barre chord.... hard to explain but that is what he is doing.... and then later he is using the B and E I believe.... So watch him in the video I have here and go off that to see basically how he is doing it.... It is hard to explain.... but that is how he is doing it...
