I'm in an Australian Brisbane band called Malakyte, I recorded the first four songs very cheaply and quickly with a laptop and an anonymous dynamic mic..
The single was recorded with Shure sm57s (guitars, bass, drums) and an akg d112 (kick, bass). After recording we sent them off to Harris Johns for mastering.
