Whatsup guys,

I'm looking to order a new 2x12 cab and install some speakers in it,
I currently am playing a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Roadster through and Orange cab which is loaded with V30's. I'm trying to decide whether I should just throw some V30's into the 2x12 as well, or just get another pair that mesh well with my Orange.
I haven't done much research but, I'm trying to find speakers that work well with my head and my other cab.

As for tubes, I currently have 6L6's in my head, looking to get EL34 STR-447's for the crunch, for those who have tried both of these tubes, what would you recommend?
I'm also in a Pop Punk band, just to give you a general idea of the sound I'm looking for.

You really don't need another 2x12... What's the problem with the single 2x12 you already have, there's no way it isn't loud enough.

The Orange is a 4x12, sorry I didn't specify.
I want a 2x12 to gig with at smaller venues and I'm trying to figure out
if their are some others speakers are would sound extremely good with my head.

Ahh right, that makes more sense. I'd just roll with V30's tbh.

And I found this article by Mesa a very helpful resource on the effects of different power tubes

Ya I was thinking that as well.
I really like the bass response with my Orange cab.

And thanks man I really appreciate you finding that, I'm definitely gonna get some EL-34's!
