Aside from being the country capital of America, in conjunction with that, it's become a huge record industry town in general. People go their to try to make it, to record, and so on. Lots of country, blues, rock, and even jazz players can be found there. There might not be a grand explaination for why this is the case, but it does seem to be the case.
