As none of you know, I haven't played electric guitar in 4-5 years. That's when I left home and moved away from my parents (via the Army). Once established up here in the Pacific Northwest, the only guitar I had was a custom-built steel string acoustic made by a luthier in Seattle. Don't get me wrong, it's the best guitar I've ever played and I still prefer acoustic, but I miss/missed electric guitar.

Anyways! My parents just sent me my electric guitar (Peavey V-Type with locking trem, the pearl white color scheme) and my amp, a Peavey Delta Blues 210, gets here tomorrow. I've put some new flatwounds on my v-type, got the tubes for my amp, and I'm going to go ahead and get a Boss ME-70 once I get a hunk of cash soon. Then I just need them to send up my Jekyll and Hyde, my Boss loop station, and whatever other pedals I've left behind.

No real point to this thread I suppose... I'm just excited to be soon back in the loop with electric guitar. Although I'm an acoustic guy at heart, I miss the shit out of playing electric. I'd like to continue making instrumentals, but I want to mesh the acoustic and electric at some point.

I'm considering dropping a new locking trem system into the Peavey (the current one has corroded slightly) and/or dropping some new humbuckers in there.

Exciting times, bro's

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

What sort of electric stuff do you play, by the way? I've played a couple of those Delta Blues amps. They're very underrated. A fraction of the price of a Hot Rod, but almost just as much tone, I think.

Yeah its a great little amp. I used to play a fair bit of metal, around the likes of in flames, opeth, etc, and then more later got more heavy into Satriani (who id always played), Becker, Vai, etc. Always been more of an acoustic player, and what I play on electric has kind of been piecemeal
