I was just writing a paper for my history class, when I got bored. I put on the song "Revelations" by Audioslave and started writing, however I realized immediately that I was able to focus more and write more complex sentences. After reading it over, I thought that one paragraph was written by someone else entirely. Thoughts?

Probably cuz the kinda dull monotonous music meant you were concentrating more on your work than the music.

Revelations is quite the heavy song.

However, not so much compared to my other music. *cough*Jeff Loomis*cough*

Audioslave? Making you intelligent? I'm gonna have to go with the monotonous theory here

That's how I write most of my essays. It blocks out everything that might distract you and allows you to focus entirely on your work.

I usually get about 1000 good words an hour in my essays with loud music in my ears

I like that song. Audioslave still got nothing on good ol' Soundgarden though.

or RATM. Still Audioslave was good to have around during the time neither of the better bands were active.

Not a big fan of the Revelations album, but the title track is pretty awesome.
Breakfast, Breakfast, it's great for us
We eat, we eat, we eat
That frozen meat
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, it can't be beat
