I'm doing P90X and the real music bores me so I need some albums to listen to when working out... probably about 1 hour to 1:15 in length would be best.

Listen to the commentry bro.

I HATE IT. But i LOVE it.

Seriously...highest tempo stuff for me. Dj Tiesto and all that rubbish. Maybe Prodigy, sometimes Machineheads burn my eyes but thats normally strength exercises.

Anyway check out Brandon Carters method..it works much better for definition!!

Radiohead's Hail to the Theif is good for working out... just skip the slower tunes if you feel you have to... either that or the second to last Black Keys album.

Not sure what kind of tunes you're in to, but here are just some of my favorites. Anything by these artists would do, didn't really pay attention to album length though. Hope this helps.

...And Justice For All - Metallica
Heaven and Hell - Black Sabbath
Powerslave - Iron Maiden
The Devil You Know - Heaven & Hell
Rust In Peace - Megadeth
Doomsday For The Deceiver - Flotsam & Jetsam
As The Palaces Burn - Lamb of God
Vulgar Display of Power - Pantera
Holy Diver - Dio
Seasons in the Abyss - Slayer
Voivod - Voivod
The Wörld Is Yours - Motorhead

I recommend Kidz Bop 1-3 and Kidz Bop 5. They sort of went too mainstream for me after their fifth album, and I don't think 4 is particulary suited for working out.

Cheers!

Listen to my music.

It's not exactly workout music, but it's alright, I guess.

Or, you can listen to it after you work out, when you're cooling down and stuff.

band and album are called Yellow Magic Orchestra

Oh my gawd yes.

And while you're at it, get Spiderman of the Rings by Dan Deacon.

Or The Ugly Organ by Cursive if you're like me and get angry/sad when you exercise.

I imagine The Fall of Troy's Doppelganger would be a good one.

most pointless necro ever?

I haven't even worked out extensively for about a year. Doing heavy jobs is my kind of thing.
