http://www.digitaltrends.com/web/watch-out-washington-cispa-replaces-sopa-as-internets-enemy-no-1/

After the SOPA/PIPA/ACTA debacles, the taking down of Megaupload and other sites, it seems like the internet is in peril yet again. Haven't read up on it fully yet myself, but seems like interesting food for debate regardless.

If you feel like petitioning against it, go here:

Well if I learned anything from last time, it's that I'm not putting the email address that I actually regularly use on that petition.

But seriously.

This doesn't seem much like SOPA. After reading it, the article seems more like an invasion of privacy thing than an anti-piracy bill.

I agree with you. There are definitely some concerns here but I don't think it is as bad as SOPA. While they do mention IP a lot, it seems reasonable to me that it would be there since the bill is about cyber security and any IP stolen from a company digitally when fall under that umbrella.

I am all for companies and government increasing their defenses against cyber threats but I do agree that there are some concerns. Hopefully they will get edited out before it hits the floor.

You know, I actually wanted to talk about this, but I can't because I'm at school and now there's porn all over the forum.

I don't like the idea of companies being able to share information that'd most of us deem confidential between other companies and the government, it seems like it'd be rife with the selling of payment detalis, e-mails, passwords, etc.

Someone posted porn in my thread, I feel so special! ;_;

And it wasn't even Kelly's scat porn!

I'm not too bothered by this trolling.

Kelly's scat porn was just too much for me. This is like going from a drive-by shooting to having paper balls thrown at you

I put a ton of my capital into SW Airlines... The next day, THE NEXT DAY these nutters fly into the WTC. What the hell? Apparently no one wanted to fly anymore, and I was like "What gives? God damnit Osama, let me win a fuggin' game!"

Bumping because we're all going to be doomed unless this has attention http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sllDt-jlUvs

The corrupt mainstream media is paying basically no attention to this either apparently.
