Hey peeps,

I want to learn a song that is tuned a quarter step down. I want to transpose this song 1/4 step up so I can play it with my guitar tuned in E. I am using Sonar Cakewalk and I have found the TRANSPOSE option but do not know how to use this.

I can transpose the audio up or down in steps of 1. What are these steps and how many do I need to use to transpose the song up 1/4 step?

Thanks.

You can't have a song tuned a quarter step down. You can have half step, but not quarter step. What is the actual string tunings?

One can not simply tune..... Lol

It is a Megadeth song called The Conjuring and I am quite sureit is tuned a quarter step down. I don't know the string tuning, it just says 1/4 step down.

I found the tab that you're using. I see what you mean now.

I don't think you can do that in Cakewalk, sorry. You'll just have to tune it like the tab says.

Thank you. It worked!

Audio effects > pitch shifter.

Thanks a lot.
