Gunshot To The Head Of Trepidation (**** that unwieldy name) and Blinded By Fear have INTROS THAT BOTH BEHIND_YOU AND I AGREE ARE SIMILAR.

And Nevermore have The Heart Collector and Believe in Nothing on the same album. Both have similar tempo and structure.

And you can never figure out what the other song is. Drives me ****ing mad, case in point

The chorus of that song, I'm sure is a boyband song...i think? It's been bothering me for a week.

Anyone else got any?
Where Is The Love by Black Eyed Peas.
This one really freaked me out at first.

Neu!'s Weissensee
Pink Floyd's Us and Them
Weissensee came out the year before DSotM and was recorded a year before that.

Sorry, but because you listen to Tool doesn't mean you're intelligent.
And I said okey-dokey. Let it die.

As established in a thread I made the other day where I was trying to work out a song, these two sound alike:

Ironically, they guessed the Tom Petty song first and they were certain that that was the song I was talking about ahah. Funny

Sorry if I offend anyone with this, but Slayer............the only songs that I've heard from them that don't sound similar are Dead Skin Mask, Seasons In The Abyss, South Of Heaven, and Final Six. The rest all sounds the same like speedy chugchugchugchugchugchugchugchugchug-doodilydoodilydada chugchugchugchugchugchugchugchugchug-doodilydoodilydaddy.

Uhhh, Diana Vickers - My Wicked Heart and RHCP Under the Bridge (I think it's that one)

Well, just looked up Diana Vickers on Wiki as I do actually like the song My Wicked Heart. Catchy as hell. And it proves why Wiki can be so unreliable. Made me laugh...

Vickers' debut single, "Once", charted at number one thousand on the UK Singles Chart after its release on 19 April 2010 and has sold over ~5 copies in the United Kingdom. Vickers' debut album was released on 3 May 2010 in the United Kingdom achieving number one status on the UK Albums Chart, number seven on the Irish Albums Chart and number four on the European Top 100 Albums, and has been certified Gold by the BPI. Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree went on to sell next to none in the United Kingdom.
Her second single, "The Boy Who Murdered Love", charted at number 436 on the UK Singles Chart, a major feat for her. This was followed by her third single, "My Wicked Heart", which was released on 17 October 2010 digitally and on 1 November 2010 physically. "My Wicked Heart" peaked at number 993 on the UK Singles Chart, making it Vickers' third consecutive Top 1000 single.
Vickers' musical career has been commercially successful thus far for a girl of her ability, with total sales of over 0,100 records in the UK alone for her three singles and debut album.

Isis is amazing
It was a while before i recognised this, but Breaking all Illusions is to Far from Heaven what Learning to Live is to Wait for Sleep.
All four are Dream Theater songs.
The Killing Joke's "Eighties" and Nirvana's "Come As You Are."

How many more idiots are going to comment a Youtube video of someone playing "Eighties" and say, "Hey, you're playing Come as You Are wrong!"?

Pat Benatar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" is one of the most blatant rip offs: "Fools Gold" by Thin Lizzy. Some people don't agree, but it sounds like a dead on copy to me.
The "and I went into a dream: aaa" part from The Beatles' "A Day in the life" and the chorus from "Hush" by Deep Purple
Good old Pete. Isn't he too old to masturbate? - Pete Townshend
Don't mind your make-up, you better make your mind up. - Frank Zappa
"Come as You Are" is pretty well-known to sound a lot like the Killing Joke song "Eighties." Kurt was aware of this, and was self-conscious about it.

There's no such thing; there never was. Where I am going you cannot follow me now.

Not saying they really sound alike, just various similarities between them.
