I'm starting to look like S6S, huh?

Anyways

Ok, forget all the other threads I've made on this.

Budget: $400

New or used: Doesn't matter

Home or gig: Gig; needs to be loud enough to be used for small gigs unmiced.

What do I need from the amp?
It needs to have good cleans, take pedals well, be loud enough for gigs, and I'd like for it to have an effects loop.

I've been looking at the fender excelsior, the blues junior, the pro junior(I'd run two of them in stereo), the hot rod deluxe., and the classic 30.

I change my mind a lot, don't I?

It's just the way it goes when choosing amps I guess.
Guitars: Fender FSR Standard Strat, Squire Affinity Strat, Epiphone Nighthawk
Amps: Vox AC15C1, Roland Cube 15x, Peavey KB-1
Pedals: Digitech RP355, HD500, Joyo AC-Tone, EHX Soul Food

My Hot Rod Deluxe does all of those, but the Drive channel really has been the downfall of the amp...
Just not my cup of tea I guess. I'm more of a amp's distortion over pedals, unless it's a fuzz.

If all you need are cleans, and pedals will take care of the dirt, I can see it working. Dont worry about micing it either.
It's F***ing loud as F***.

EDT: btw, I find HRD's on Craigslist for $300-400 all the time.

I second the HRD, if you're using drive pedals. I don't think it has a loop though

She will join the prom.

She insists to wear this lights.

I don't think so.

How can I persuade her?

If you're just using cleans with FX on top, I highly recommend a Peavey ValveKing half stack. Attainable in your budget, although you'll have to do a bit of haggling probably. They have very good cleans, and will undeniably be loud enough for unmic'd applications. They also take pedals very well.
Spin 'round carousel when your horse isn't screwed in.

It's all good.
Just curious, TS, what kind of music are you going to be playing?

To be honest, I get more sick of seeing people apologizing for making "What amp/ guitar" threads than I do seeing the actual thread itself. This is what the forum is for. To get gear recommendations and stuff.
