Just won an eBay war and got Tell All Your Friends on purple vinyl for $25. I'm pretty happy with that.

Yeah, that's awesome, but check this shit out.

Alkaline Trio/Hot Water Music - Split on SEXY custom vinyl

Got it for $10 from Half Price Books.

I'll be getting Plain Language on vinyl pretty soon.

That cover of Radio is elite to the original. One of the cooler picture discs I've ever seen.

Mail call! This is what I've gotten since my departure, still expecting 10+ records but w/e. Get em at thanksgiving.

Tell All Your Friends - TBS
Picture Show - Neon Trees
Joyce Manore/Summer Vacay split
The Sidekicks/Tigers Jaw split (my favorite split of TJ)
Spraynard - Exton Square
Paramedic!/Spraynard Split

Lol @ Spraynard breaking up. That really cracks me up because they've always been so posi about everything. Kinda sad if you think about it.

Got First Draft (clear vinyl) and For Cameron (green cassette) the other day.

Not exactly pop punk/emo, but close enough. This thread needs more posts anyway.

Picked that one up for $11 at Hot Topic today. Pretty happy.

Nice. I was listening to Caution this morning. Not on vinyl, unfortunately.

Since you posted HWM, I might as well post this. Granted it isn't pop punk or emo. It came in the mail today.

You prolly already ordered it, but I have it on good authority that they are great to business with like if you ever need buttons made or shirts or whatever.

I haven't ordered it, and I probably won't for awhile now. Thanks for the info though.

I have quite a vast collection other than those records as well...Killing Joke's "Extremeties", the entire Dead Kennedy's discography, Minor Threat, Jello Biafra's other solo outings with the Melvins, The Mars Volta, Atmosphere, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Nas, Aesop Rock, P.O.S., KC And The Sunshine Band, The Eagles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Iwrestledabearonce, Dredg, The White Stripes, The Dead Weather, The Strokes, Faith No More's "Angel Dust"....

There's way more and probably WAY better one's then I listed after the PP/EMO records. I just was going on a tangent trying to also fit in some of my other tastes because it's not like I just own the records I listed in the first place.

And I'll be glad to prove I own these for anyone! With pleasure.

Haven't bought a good record in a while, and I just got paid. Can someone recommend me something either Spraynard-sounding or twinkly that's on the newer side that maybe I didn't hear about?

You might like these guys:

http://dowsing.bandcamp.com/releases

Their latest album came out in July.

Or get the new Slingshot Dakota LP. It's seriously rad.

Timeshares are pretty rad, assuming you've never listened to them. They put out an album last year. It's pretty awesome.

You also have Dads, if you haven't listened to them:

Their album came out a few months ago.

Listen to Two Knights either way, they might put out their split with innards on vinyl but they don't have any vinyl out atm.

Oh I'm pretty current on the scene haha, and I know some of the dudes in Dowsing. When I said newer, I was talking like late October/Early November.

I never really liked Slingshot Dakota that much tho

EDIT: I know all these bands, I was just seeing if there was something maybe minor that I missed.

Eh. Adobe Holmes has some twinkly-ish riffs, but they're more on the screamo side...they just put out Pinata, great album. Innards put out I've Lost Everything as a 10" on CYLS and they're a bit twinklier, but again, very much on the screamo side of things. The Casket Lottery put out a split with Touche Amore...Pile's album Dripping is cool...now I'm just throwing stuff out haha. Not even really twinkly at all.

Can't think of anything recent.
