I know Wenger's a pedofile, but Afellay would be a decent replacement, who can play on both flanks and he is tested in big matches, and scores more than Walcott. When he's a starter and not playing for Barcelona that is.

The potential Chelsea attack next year is worrying. I think their defence could be a bit suspect though, so sounds like they'll have some interesting matches,

RVP is the third best looking Dutch international football player though. According to tha ladies. Afellay is number one.

My line-up for next season.

Cech
Ivanovic-Luiz-Terry-Cole
Ramires-Mikel
Hulk - Mata - Hazard
Torres

Obviously this depends on us signing Hulk.

Doesn't sound like the sort of player Wenger wants

Where's Lampard in this story? You should really buy a new RB.

Lampard's 50, he'll probably be rotated with Ramires

Didn't Hazard say he wanted to play in the #10 role?

I think him and Mata will be allowed to interchange as they see fit.
It depends on what the new manager chooses to do really.

He won't even get the idea. But Afellay shouldn't be that expensive as he is third fidle at Barcelona with Sanchez and Villa.

Like.. without that number on his back, he just can't function as a footballer

Lampard is getting on a bit now so I see him being a back up for Ramires. Also, I don't reckon we need a new right back, Ivanovic is solid and Sam Hutchinson looks like he could be a decent back up.

Well Mata's got it so they'll have to sort it between themselves. I doubt Mata's that fussed about it but even so, it is his number currently...

How come Wembley is getting the CL final again?

Apparently it's to tie in with the 150th anniversary of the FA, I'm not too fussed about it, gives me a chance to save up and go down, even if I don't get a ticket or anything just to take in the atmosphere.

I wish they'd start the British Home Championship again, so I can destroy Wembley.

I just realised, if Newcastle/Spurs sign Mulumbu, that's WBA's centre midfield ruined. They'd have to play Andrews and Thorne there, or something.

On the bright side, our's will be awesome.

HBA - Cabaye - Marveaux

Not much, however he's looked solid when he has played and if we don't give him a chance now, he'll never get a chance. He's also held in high regard by people I follow on Twitter who follow the reserve team.

It's just blind faith really which is making me say this. >_>

I bet those 32,000 posts were all yours <_<.

Next season could be horrible for WBA. Mulumbu, Olsson and Odemwingie rumoured to be going, still a chance of signing a rubbish manager.

Nope. Would still be 20,000+ past the nearest thread without my posts

I bet Mulumbu is just trolling anyway. Apparently he likes doing that on twitter

Judging by the amount of money you seem to be spending this window you'll definitely buy a right back. Plus it's Abravomich making these signings so he won;'t give a crap about whether there's some youth player, especially without a manager there to say anything.

I wonder if he's making all these signings just to make the club more attractive for a new manager? They need to hurry up with that.

Meh, sections of every teams fanbase gets pissed at stuff like this. I thought it was hilarious though.

Szczesny: "hey man, did you see John Terry last saturday? Was looking absolutely awful"
Walcott: "Tell me about it, that positioning was definitely a turn off"

No way is Hazard getting the #10 from Mata, he'll probably get games in that position (slightly rotated with Mata) but i see him starting on the wing. Mata earned his role, regardless of how much we're paying him, Hazard is retarded if he thinks he can walk into the team and tell our best player to choose a new position.

Lamps and Ramires should share their spot in the team imo.

Mulumbu just said his agent had been speaking to Tottenham and Newcastle, doesn't mean that either of them have or will bid for him.

It's likely someone will come in for him at some point though and he'll leave.

I doubt Tottenham will go for him with the amount of CM's they've already got.
