Looks like the old Gretsch Filter-tron toaster pups. But it is prob a Danelectro.

I looks like a Gretsch custom Falcon to me. The sound hole and large pickguard are either custom or a diffrent model than a regular Falcon. Who's the dude playing it I could probably find out more if you know.

Maton Ave Bel Aire...I think...QOTSA dude plays one just like that

although that one does look like it has a bigger 335 type body. Other than that they look identical.

I thought Gretsch when I saw it, but the logo on the headstock is wrong. I don't believe it's a Danelectro logo either.

If you don't find out what it is, the Gretsch Falcon would probably be the closest you'll get to it though.

EDIT:

Just googled for the guy you said is in the pic, this was the first link:
http://www.motorave.com/BelAire.htm

The logo is still different to the pic you linked to, and the pickups look like standard humbuckers, but now you have a bit more to go on.

it looks like one of those MotorAve's, but the body seems bigger and the headstock seems to have a slightly different logo. they seem to be custom pieces though so that doesn't mean too much.

Guitarists name is Brendan Benson.

Brendan is, alongside guitar and vocals, a drummer and pianist; as a man with many musical strings to his bow, he talks fondly of the gear he’s built up over the years, and its origins. “At the moment I’m playing a MotorAve guitar, which was made by a friend of mine in North Carolina. I met him when I was living in San Francisco fifteen or twenty years ago… he was just starting to build guitars, and he’s really now come into his own. His guitars just sound, and look, amazing. He made this custom one for me and engraved my son’s name on the headstock – which I guess makes it a Declan MotorAve!”

Hi. Can someone tell me which guitars are real 24 fret guitars and which are just 22 fret guitars with 2 extra frets added on?
