I've been listening to the same stuff for a while and my friends haven't been a big help in suggesting artists in genres other than death metal and dubstep, so I figured I'd ask you guys. It doesn't matter if suggestions are old or new artists. Here is what I primarily listen to:

Aerosmith
Van Halen (not Van Hagar)
AC/DC
Guns N' Roses
Black Sabbath
Lenny Kravitz
KISS
Metallica
Led Zeppelin

To be truly honest, it is really hard to figure out your taste in music just from you listening to those bands. Those are like the "Classics", just about everyone likes at least half of those, idk I'm trying to figure out how to help just don't know where to start

TOOL, Deftones, A Perfect Circle, Chevelle, Pink Floyd, maybe Iron Maiden. Those are some great bands off the top of my head similar to those you listed. Tool and Floyd especially.
#5
Ramones
Sublime
That's all you need.
It's over simplified, So what!

Big ones can be fun in some ways but generally, they are a pain in the ass.

Bon Jovi, eagles, clapton, maiden, satriani, kaskade, nervo, ozzy, porter robinson, knife party, queen, daft punk, santana, some skrillex, SRV, stones, wolfgang gartner, yngwie malmsteen, paul gilbert, guthrie govan, vai and other shredders, rob marcello and some avicii, maybe some skid row.

Should give you some various eighties shred, classic rock, some blues, glam bands and a few modern electro and dubstep stuff to listen to.

For some more current bands: Black Country Communion (mandatory if you're into you're into classic rock. Opeth's last album "Heritage" (you most likely won't like their old stuff). Muse. The Black Keys. Chickenfoot.

Buckethead (jordan)
Drist (arterial black)
Limp Bizkit (rollin')
Tool (46&2 and schism)

Hey, bro, you suck.
How dare you disagree with my tastes.

At least let the guy make up his own mind.

Yngwie is still the shit.

Man...why do people hate on Bon Jovi so much? I mean, they don't appeal to me as much as they did when I was like 12 but I think they're still relevant.

Worth Checking out The Yardbirds from a guitar geek point of view - that band was like a guitar legend breeding ground - Beck, Clapton, Page.....Also White Stripes, Wolfmother

Newer/more unknown artists-

Burning Condors (pretty cool blues/rock band I caught when I was out in the States, great guitarist), Lance Lopez ,Hijak Oscar

I think you would like ''The pixies'' a lot. In case you've never heard them, they are kind of an acquired taste. Maybe ''Jet''??
