I don't think you could get through all of the star treks in a day.
But boys will be boys and girls have those eyes
that'll cut you to ribbons, sometimes
and all you can do is just wait by the moon
and bleed if it's what she says you ought to do

What you listen to has as much impact on your guitar playing as what you practice. If you want to play jazz, listen to jazz, the same thing goes for rock, blues and anything else.Listen to something other than guitar players and try to mimic other instruments on the guitar.Listen to a good singer and try to play the melodies they're singing.Like somebody else said, take a break for a day or 2.

Dammnit, TS, why u no take my advice? Everyone knows Picard is far superior to Skywalker in terms of recuperative musical inspiration.

hello guys my fender strat just arrived GBE strings fell too tense and hard to bend what can i do
I tried the same Standart Strat. in France strings were really nice..
#51
It might have different gauge strings, be set up differently etc... In short that's something you'll have to fix yourself. I'd wager your bending technique isn't really as good as you think it is (a very common thing with guitarists including myself) so get practicing.

As for the content of this topic, try learning songs by ear instead of tab. Of course, the way you're posting you probably won't get to this stage for a few months-years yet...

I'm 99% sure you should avoid the above like the plague, because I don't think anyone on the planet would be able to achieve virtuosity in thirty days...

lol i found why i always end up with a rut..
RUSTY Strings I sweat a lot.
When strings are new I can do sweep legato and all this shit with having fun
than after 2 days strings get rusty than problem starts.I cant slide ı cant do fast stuff I cant do sweep and legato..after 2 weeks all strings even the heavy ones get rusty too and I find myself in a RUT..Its %100 the reason of my RUT..I see it very clearly now.

I wasnt sweat alot when 2 years ago I was having ruts but like one day in 5 months.
Than I started to sweat alot in this summer..Than My Unending rut started...

so Whats strings I should use for my Strat?

I just bought Ernie Ball COATED 0.10 regular but I didnt tried it yet cus Its for my Schecter lol.. Anyone who uses Coated Strings Can you guys tell me will coated strings get rusty quickly?
thanks

elixirs last for months - i think i had a set for like 9 months before it even started going out of tune

but i'm not a sweaty guy and didn't gig much

it all depends on what works for you. a lot of people have great results with d'addarios that aren't coated, while other people will go through them like paper. experiment - just be grateful you don't play bass and a set of strings isn't 30+ bucks
