Do you even use those little half frets?
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

There are certainly some unusual things in my rig. Not a lot of GMWs, sm-100Rs or CAE 3+s out there.

My GMWs may be the only two in the world with SS frets.

I've got a CAE japan VCA in my rack for volume control. I've never seen another one of those except for Steve Lukather's rack.

I use a Peterson rack tuner. You normally only see pedal steel guys with them, but I like to be in tune.

Sometimes. They are actually surprisingly easy to get to because the back is carved to fit my hand - that's the beauty of custom built guitars. He looked at the size of my hands and made everything to suit. They are tricky though - in the same way that playing high on a mandolin is tricky.

Maybe I should add piezos to my floyd saddles.

Probably the only thing that's unusual about my setup is that I currently have a Vypyr 15 mic'd and a 6505+ 112 in the other room collecting dust.

I use my MXR 10-band as a reverse boost. Turned on as standard to sculpt the sound for my rhythm and slightly reduce the overall volume from my amp... turn it off to boost my volume for solo-time.

Fairly unusual but not unique; I think it was even somewhere on this forum I found the idea like three or four years ago.

Interesting idea how much does this choke ones tone when doing this and how much of cut do you get if its directly infront of an amp I kind of want to set my amps gain/volume knob to ten and use it as an ear shattering od because I can kill all the hum with my decimator.

I'd honestly fap to anything with a set of genitals as long as I find it aesthetically appealing.

It's an EQ. If it's choking your tone you've got it dialed in wrong. As for how much it can cut you can get, look at the controls. Those sorts of figures in audio are what we call a shitload.

Other than constantly being tuned half a step down my rig is pretty normal.. I run the EQ at the start of my FX loop if that's weird? Dunno if it is though.
#51
Yep, no choke at all. In fact because of this I actually have my amp running slightly louder than I would normally and the EQ is merely just reducing the amount of signal that gets there.

I keep a CryBaby wah fully forward and turned on the whole time because my guitar has so little treble
#53
D standard is my normal tuning . My rig is pretty standard I guess. I play barefoot? Oh and the V3 lights up pretty colours when the channels are changed. I used to run my Wah backwards for the Seagull sound but stopped when I realised I didn't use it at all.

I also run almost all alnico 5 magnet pickups in my guitars, even though I play almost exclusively metalcore and modern-voiced prog metal.
.
If this counts, then I guess I'll add that I more or less only use A2 and A4 pickups, even though my main genre is gothic metal.

... Except my active guitars, which I use for blues. EMG 60AX, best classic rock and blues pickup ever made.
Yes, I know everything. No, I can't play worth a damn.

I still maintain my stance that this is the single greatest piece of gear ever created. Every guitarist/bassist should own one of these.

Peavey Ultra 60 in to an openback 212 bigger than a 412. Huge sound.

Also I have a little lamp on my pedal board to see the settings.
